KHARTOUM, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Monday met with Ethiopian Foreign Minister Workneh Gebeyehu in Khartoum to boost the bilateral ties.
The bilateral ties between Sudan and Ethiopia are "strong and based on mutual understanding and mutual benefits," Gebeyehu told reporters after the meeting.
Meanwhile, Sudanese Foreign Minister Al-Dirdiri Mohamed Ahmed told reporters that Gebeyehu's visit to Sudan is part of the continued consultations and coordination between the two countries.
